I have had several positions as a tutor. In 2004, I started my first tutoring position at Mission Junior High as a tutor in English and Mathematics. I was there for 4 months, which was when I started tutoring at South Texas College for remedial English and mathematics, logic, and history. I stayed there for a year and a half. I left there because I moved four hours away. From January 2008 until May 2008, I worked as a substitute teacher at Clark High School and Rawlinson Middle School in San Antonio,TX. I am passionate about tutoring because I enjoy working with kids. I believe a strong early education will be a benefit later on in life. I am also pursuing a degree in elementary and middle school education, and this is an excellent way to improve my teaching capabilities. All children learn differently and I like to be adaptable.
